BJP's 'Prosperous Farmer' Plan and Initiatives for Women, Youth, and Employment in Rajasthan

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan has unveiled a comprehensive plan aimed at uplifting farmers, empowering women, nurturing the youth, and providing employment opportunities across the state.

Empowering Farmers:**

Under the "PM Kisan Samman Nidhi," financial assistance for farmers will increase to ₹12,000 annually. Additionally, the "Chief Minister Farmer Education Incentive Scheme" will offer free education to children of small-scale farmers, marginal farmers, and agricultural laborers.

An "Agri-Infrastructure Mission," with an investment of ₹20,000 crores, will focus on building cutting-edge facilities like sorting and grading units, cold chain chambers, warehouses, and processing centers across the state.

Supporting Crop Prices:

The government aims to procure wheat at a bonus above the Minimum Support Price (MSP), setting it at ₹2,700 per quintal. Similar provisions for procuring jowar and bajra at MSP will be initiated along with establishing the Sri Ann Promotion Agency.

Focus on Infrastructure and Development:**

Collaborating with the central government, efforts will be made to complete the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) in a timely manner. Additionally, new processing clusters are set to be established in the Pomegranate belt of Barmer, Jalore, and Jodhpur.

Empowering Women through 'Secure Society, Empowered Women':**

The 'Laado Promotion Scheme' will provide savings bonds on the birth of girls from economically weaker families and financial support at various educational stages, including vocational courses.

Other initiatives include the 'Chief Minister Free Scooty Scheme,' establishment of skill training for over 6 lakh rural women through the 'Lakhpati Didi Scheme,' and providing LPG cylinders to women from economically challenged households at a subsidized rate of ₹450.

Education and Opportunities for the Youth:**

Plans include setting up a Rajasthan Institute of Technology in each region, following the model of IIT. Financial aid through direct benefit transfers for purchasing school bags, books, and uniforms for economically weak students.

Moreover, the 'Rajasthan Sports Modernization Mission' aims to revamp sports infrastructure in government schools and colleges across the state.

Employment Generation:**

Anticipating the creation of 2.5 lakh government jobs for the youth in the coming five years, the focus remains on providing employment opportunities and fostering growth across various sectors.

These initiatives and plans by the BJP in Rajasthan aim to foster inclusive growth, provide ample opportunities for skill development, and ensure the overall welfare of the farming community, women, and the youth in the state.
